The greatest mistake you can make with your personal brand is to pass on the message that you do not care about. Once that vibe goes around your audience, once they realize that you are selfish, then you are done.
People normally come up with marketing gimmicks that prey on unsuspecting members of their audiences. They use the greed and fear pillars to lure them. This is the ultimate degree of selfishness.
