Cynics will teach you a thing or two about what they are cynical about. There is no way you can be inspired by the very thing that you are cynical about except something happens to remove the cynicism.
If I have cynicism and apathy towards my purpose or anything that matters to me, there is no way that I can be inspired or even seek inspiration in those things: whether it is your purpose, or your relationships. That's how that bad apathy is.
