That is why we need to talk about how we can cure it. At times, a cause needs to be lost especially when apathy is in it and it is incurable. There is no point of sticking to something when we have apathy against it. But if we can cure it, then let's do.

An environment of negativity, whether in the mind or in a relationship with something or someone will almost always lead to apathy. This environment has an uncanny way of IGNORING that which is going on well but blatantly focus on the negative...and sometimes even invent them.

When apathy has finally settled, it is possible to have it cured by just flipping the script. We were taught in Sunday School, "Count your blessings name them one by one..." By the time you are through with that genuine exercise, you will see the light and appreciate stuff...and that's when apathy fizzles out.
