Assistant Inspector General of Police Asan Kasingye is one of the most notable senior police officers in Uganda. Just a few seconds on his Twitter handle @AKasingye will leave you in stitches but will also show you that a police officer is an everyday human.
I had a conversation with him and there were very many points to cover that the two hours we had were not enough. I sought to know why he chose to be an officer and how his career has been ever since he joined the forces in the late 80's.
As he looks forward to retirement, it is only befitting that we wish him a Happy Labor Day as we enjoy this conversation. Listen to this.
