I have always said that one of the most critical fights of our lives is the fight for consistency. That fight is necessitated by another one: the fight for urgency. To be urgent is to be alive.
You will know this when a crisis hits you. Before the crisis, you are all laisses faire about your appearance in life. You are cozy and comfortable, until a setback hits you.
All of a sudden you galvanize yourself and find some resources out of the melee. That is how urgent you become. The question is, can we be urgent with our lives daily without waiting for a crisis to hit us? Listen to this.
