One of the biggest mistakes we do with raw talent is to over-emphasise its importance to us monetarily so much so that we put undue pressure on it and it ultimately doesn't develop.
When people realise that there is potential somewhere with a natural gift and talent, they see only what they can benefit from it. They start counting the millions even before that gift has been nurtured to maturity.
When it comes to developing natural gifts and talents, maturity is of great essence. Instead of seeking prominence, seek obscurity as you develop. Listen to this.
