It is an open secret, even though many people are not bold enough to agree, that natural gifts and talents are important in society. Not just for hobbies, but also for personal and national economies.
In the mainstream, it is hard to find a system that has been institutionalized and set aside specifically to nurture gifts and talents. Many have the gifts but they are struggling to make ends meet.
We need to have ways that we can develop these natural gifts and talents. Before that though, we have to be bold enough to acknowledge the fact that natural gifts and talents have a firm place in society.
