When someone is told, "Go get yourself a real job", chances are that that someone was pursuing something of passion or purpose. Now, a "real" job has some guarantees.
You know that you will earn X amount of money consistently in a certain period. That gives you certainty. You know that your bills of survival will be covered without trouble and as promised.
Not so with Purpose pursuit. As much as there are misconceptions in purpose pursuit monetization, chances are that you are the one shooting yourself in the foot for not monetizing it. This is one way that happens.
