We live in a rather transactional dispensation where people want to quantify every interaction in terms of what they can get.
It is even worse when we think of the benefits of our actions in the now. If not careful, this kind of transactional life makes us to become selfish and short sighted.
However, if we can embrace just one virtue of care one for another, we stand a chance to reap perhaps not in the moment, but even later on in droves.
